The club have until the 31st of March to tell the council they have sufficent funds for the new stadium, one things for sure there can NOT be a groundshare of any sort atall.
We need a new stadium because Cheslea will extend, the mancs have and Arsenal also, and if we want to keep up with the big boys and more transfer kitty for Rafa then we need someone very very rich, I think its Robert Craft meself.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

i dont want the spanish bloke to take over the club.
in spanish culture it seems the owners like to think they are the managers as well, i think what attracted rafa to us in the first place was the control he would have over all aspects of the club, not just the first team.
we`d be better off with american investors who know they know nothing about footy and stay behind the scene`s.

If I remember correctly, Moores publicly declared, not this last AGM, but the year previous, that for the best of the club if he had to sell all his shares he would do so.

I feel it has taken so long to get the right investor, because I genuinely believe they want the best for the club, and want to make sure that whoever buys the club, there are a number of conditions to the sale, as well as the right price and right deal to move the club forward. If there are a lot of conditions to be met, set by the current board, that will move the club forward investment wise, but also not lose the heart and soul of the club, then I could see a number of conditions being set to potential buyers. Some of these conditions might not be right for potential buyers in their vision, for the club and why things may have cooled from one investor to another.

My only fear is that maybe Moores is being too picky, and setting one to many conditions, but I would like to feel that he is setting a lot of these conditions that allows the club to keep much of it's identity and soul.

It may have now come to that point where a Investor or some investors are willing, or have negotiated all these conditions to acceptable levels, and as per conditions needed to be given to the clubs shareholders a statement now has to be made and the shareholders have been advised.

think moores will sell only so much as to still keep the club's reighns in his own hands...

i would like to just have someone invest significantly in the club rather than take over altogether so we would know that the club was still in trusted hands and with more funds but i wouldnt totally be against the idea of a complete takeover as long as we didnt turn into the new chelski

once someone spends 200m or whatever ballpark figure to buy a controlling interest in the club its their club. they can do what they want with it. no one spending the amount of cash it would take to buy us out is going to have any clauses in the way. thats why the united fans went nuts.
ideally moores should stay, he`s not perfect but he understands what the club exists for, its place in the community and its history and to be fair he shuns the limelight unlike freddie shepherd, peter risdale or bill kenwright who cant stop telling fans what to do everytime someone pokes a microphone in their faces.
i`d hate to have a load of businessmen come into the club and mention `brand`, `maximizing your potential` and other platitudes rather than `league title`.

so u want a person with no money to take over? wat's the use of a takeover if it's not for having money?? Still i dont think rafa will ever pay outrageous sums on any player even if he had all the money in the world.....he knows the our sentiments too well.

oh aye yea lets get a billionnaire to take over our club, have unlimited funds, buy whoever we want, lets see who likes us then, see if anyone respects us and if we actually earn anything through hard work again. Yeah lets be chelsea number 2 im sure everyone will love us. Im not talking about a guy with no money taking over but not some billionnaire who could buy us whatever we want like a certain other club who everyone despises... :O  your almost as bad as the other dumbass before

ur the dumbass!!

DO u know nothing abt our gr8 manager??go to lfc.tv now and read his biography.. He has been fighting against money minded clubs 4 all his managerial career ... against real and barca in spain and now  against chelski... even if he had unlimited funds he would never use them... he would only use so much as is necessary, he's a fighter ,his football philosophy is to win trophies the way it's supposed to be won through hard work and perseverence and not through money honey .....dumbass!
