Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Surely King Kenny or even Sammy can step in temporarily until a permanent manager with the right peidgree can be found?
But then he needs money to put things right as the team just isn't good enough at the moment regardless of who the manager is IMO.
However, The team needs us more than ever right now! YNWA[U]

OK so where are our owners NOW... were they right to trust the judgement of the man chosen to manage our club by the loathesome two (H&G)?

Are they right to alow the club to reach such lows.. on the pitch ?

WHERE ARE YOU NOW ... !!!!

I think they're in the process of sacking Roy right now...

You know it makes sense.

isn't he one of the favorite for the job?

its between him and Brian Barwick. i've no idea who it's going to be tho

didnt barwick appoint Mclaren for England ?
Or am i wrong ?

yes, but Martin O'Neil was his first choice  :help

Would rather have Dein tbh. That Barwick is an idiot. Same sort clueless decision making in appointing McLaren as Christie getting in Roy.

Wasnt Barwick on our side when we won the champions league and there were doubts as to whether we should be in the champs league the next season to have a chance to defend it despite being 5th?

You see... they thought it through, explored options and did what they thought is right for the club and the fans

Next time can we please be patient

Fairplay to them, they've done the right thing. I can understand their reluctance given they seem to want to take time in putting together the boardroom team and perhaps seeing out this season before making wholesale changes on the frontline but Roy's fate was sealed the moment there were 10,000 empty seats at Anfield on New Years Day. Hodgson's was dead in the water from that moment on.

I am happy with how they dealt with things, they did not talk to the press and just dealt with it behind closed doors. Maybe the Liverpool way is back.

Now NESV have got 5 months to find us a new manager, After that, they'll have to back him or the honeymoon will be well and truly over.

To make the announcement the morning of the biggest day in the English Football Calender was clever timing imho.  Does anybody else see it like this?  If it was announced Thursday or Friday it would have been the only story all day - now there's big upsets, premier league clubs going down to lower league teams, etc.....it also give the team a bounce(hopefully) just before a big match.  I'm going to call it savvy until proven otherwise :eyebrow

He was always going to give the club his backing. Head of the English FA not back an English team in the European cup? Doesn't mean anything IMO.
