Well I hope we can get our hands on Morientes, In a possible Owen deal if he does go, but I doubt real will want to let him go!

he helped Monaco knock them out of the champions league last season,and Im betting Real were gutted they sent him out on loan, and he pops up with two tonight!

He is class, but i doubt we will get him now.

they'd be foolish to let him go, in my book, but he is class

I said it earlier - why on earth would Real want Owen? He has not been at his best for the past couple of seasons and he has lost his main weapon - his speed.

Sounds like it is Owen who wants to move more. If he does, looks like Morrientes is not going to be the makeweight.

no, if an injury occurs then what do we do, we need depth, IF Owen goes, we need a replacement, even if he is only a backup to Barso and Cisse.

pongolle would for replacement for those 2 imo. now if baros was off and owen was staying then i'd want another striker cos we'd be guarenteed 2-3 months mandatory owen injury

but if Cisse, Baros or Pongolle got injured, we would have no backup at all, and we might have to play Mellor or Robbie Foy, which is a massive risk, Yo cvan't expect 2 guys to play 90 mins week in week out, especially if we have2 games a wekk with CL.
Any top side, in Europe needs 4 strikers.
ManU have Smith, Saha, RVN, Bellion and Forlan
Arsenal have Van Persie, Henry, Bergkamp and Reyes
Chelsea have Kezman, Drogba, Gudjohnsen and Mutu.

currently we laso have 4, if owen goes, we need a repacement IMO.

Spot on Scott, 4 strikers in the modern game is a must.

Personally would like to see Eto over Morientes if the Real Deal is indeed true.

Watched a fair bit of Eto in the African Nations earlier this year and he is quality although if my memory serves me well we did once buy a twice crowned "African Footballer Of the year" before and it didn't work out so well
