Finally shut them up. I strongly believe we still have a chance to win the EPL. Man Sum still need to play Arsenal and Aston Villa. Keep our fingers crossed and YNWA! :)

Well whether you are pro, anti or whatever else, that was an absolutely fantastic performance form the manager and team, and whatever happens for the rest of this season, that was a historic win. Thankyou to Rafa and the lads for that, just seeing and listening to the media bubble burst (the best team ever and all that sh!t) was beautiful. I've just dragged meself out of bed and although I'm a bit knackered, goinna take the kids swimming this aft' and allround the Worlds feels like a lovely place.

Ferguson might have a point that we were slightly flattered by the eventual scoreline, but he's talking out of his erse when he says they were the better side. Once we went 2-1 up there was only ever going to be one winner, and we had some standout fantastic performnces.

Hyppia after being thrown in last minute was absolutely out of this World I thought, never put a foot wrong.

Fabio Aurelio after two sterling performances against madrid, put Ronaldo in his pocket as well. If he can stay fit, I think he can become one of the best best left backs in the League, if not THE best. He'll never be a bomber like Evra, but he is a better defender IMHO. Great free-kick too.

Mash was Mash and mashed any impetus they built up, Kuyt did his thing very effectively, whiel Torres and Gerrard were simply too hot to handle. Anyone worried that Gerrard would disappear got an emphatic answer, and they made Ferdinand and Vidic ("the best central defensive partnership the Premiership has ever seen"-Ian Dowie on SKY) look very vulnerable.

Even Dossena scored again ("don't diss da Doss") while there was something for the Babelians once again when he came on.

Talking of Babel, I thought he was unlucky not to start after his performance against Madrid, and to that end I thought Riera had a poor game and was our only below average player. There's something not quite right with him at the moment IMHO, his form is on a bit of a rollercoaster and if he's not careful, Babel will reclaim his spot.

All in all though a famous win, and although they are still in poll position at least now they will feel a smidge of pressure.

Don't post here often but with such a historic win, I thought why not.

I watched with my dad (a manc supporter) down at pub and well he ended up going home 20 mins till the end. Pub was packed with l'pool supporters all crying and screaming, great atmophere. One of the best days ever!

LMAO at Fanzone when he went "It's four! I didn't even see it I was breaking my clock" :D

Thought Aurelio was immense today - assured, confident with numerous perfectly timed tackles. I wasn't entirely convinced by him until recently but at the minute he's like signing a new top class player. I hope he can remain fit.

As for Sami - I just love him. Brilliant, brilliant servant to the club.

Great performance from the team today, everyone played there part and deserves the plaudits. Torres and Gerrard were immense, but i thought Hyypia and Mascherano were just as good, the mancs didnt get a sniff all game and those two were instrumental in that.

Best week of football i can remember for a long time, thrashing the Real Madrid and Manchester United within days! it almost feels like weve won a trophy, i just hope to God that these results will prove to be significant.

I cant remember where I saw it on this forum but there was an argument comparing supporters at Old Trafford to those at Anfield.

Ok, this is in no way me boasting about how good of a united fan I am because I stayed till the end of the game.

Ok, so its before kick-off, Col Page waltzes out onto the pitch to embarass us with the oh so cringeworthy United Road... You can see alot of united fans just sitting there and not making any effort too sing along; Fair Play to them..

So then the game starts, everyone one is singing-getting behind the team when they need it. We get a penalty and its electric, everybody is happy and singing. Then it starts to quiet down as it looks like its just going to be a routine walk-over of the scousers the chants are still being belted out by the upper of the stretty. Then I look over to my left to see one of the strangest :censored: sites I have ever seen - A group of men ( the knee length jacket with the posh shirt sort of men ) one of which of these spastics was wearing :censored: ear plugs. Thats right.....Earplugs.

Liverpool start killing us off and they all start walking out, the scousers are singing all the part time supporter chants and I am just gobsmacked. How can you leave your team hanging at 2-1 with about twenty minutes to go! I will be the first to admit we wern't playing well and it was extremely frustrating but when the team need that extra push to get them super-motivated to smash in an equaliser and you have thousands of fans giving up on them how the hell are they ment to score.

Its all well and good to sing when your winning.

From redcafe.

At least during a majority of LFC dissapointments you'll still hear the rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" sang at the end, the Old Trafford "faithfull" just simply sod off !

EDIT: Bloody link wont go !
