Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ola Mr Benitez » Mon Nov 07, 2005 11:06 am

I have been very critical of Lil Luis this season, not because I think he is cr@p, just that he gives the ball away far too much to be classed as a Liverool great. However....  I would like to say if all the current Liverpool squad had aimed to improve their game as Garcia has in recent weeks we would be a very much better club, in a much higher position.

Garcia has obviously been on this forum and taken into account everything me and Judge has said, and gone into training and worked on his negative points.

In all seriousness, he appears to be playing with all his usual flair, but not giving the ball away anywhere near as much.  Well in lad!

Lets hope he continues in this vain and carries on improving.

Ok - Garcia can be a liability at times.  But we can't forget that last season, he was the joint top scorer (13) with Baros.

lol not a step down from liverpool, but they could end up a division down from liverpool if they are not careful.

all credit to baros he scored 13 for us last season but if he wasnt rubbish it could have been about 30 odd with the amount of chances he missed in the anfield Derby

garcia has shown improvement, not in his skill, but more in his ability to win the ball back of late
