He has been one of our better performers this season and has come on a bit in that sense and I'd give Roy some credit on that one, it looks as though his confidence above all else is a lot higher. Under Rafa he was given stricter instructions perhaps like... 'break up play and pass it sideways' type of instructions. This season he's come out of his shell more and is becoming more dependable and looks to make the odd run forward and support the front men where he can and he's also played some nice passes going forward too. This is good but on the other side of that when it's acknowledged how good he has been, it says quite a lot about our other players I think who haven't got their act together and Hodgson's tactics are more than likely underpinning our poor performances this season more so than the team collectively.

As far as I know Lucas, Babel and Brad Jones are the only players actually on Twitter.

It's very unlucky for Lucas that after a great game against Chelsea his thread is under the glitch and nobody can't read the praises. :D

The quoted phrase is true, but the improvement of Lucas compared to other seasons remains true aswell and the last game won't change that.

Anyhow, I keep thinking that Lucas had much more time and opportunities than most of the players who have to prove something at a big club.

exactly ,i'm just amazed people are taking the Chelsea game as a sign for anything from Lucas, The boy has no talent and has demonstrated it day in day out ,the Fact Paulson is no better doesn't give him credit. Even the Fouls/Yellow/Reds he is getting are because he is too Slow to tackle.....How much chances would a single player get before being sold for good?? Not to forget he is in most important position on the field and you want Lucas to hold this?

Do you actually watch any games or are ya too busy spouting sh.ite on here? Lucas has been playing well all season and has also played a part in several important matches previous.

As for his improvement being down to Roy, yeah I'm sure being dropped for fecking poulsen worked wonders for Lucas' confidence.

He has come good because a) he has talent and b) he has a strong enough mentality to ignore all the sh.ite said about him.

Brazil coach obviously thinks so too btw.
