Kuyt has really impressed me so far. Turns out he's not as useless as some of us thinks he is.
2 assists in the trashing of world champions Italy. :)

Torres is playing well for it raining.  I'm pretty sure he isn't a fan of rain.

Great assist, and almost a goal.  Only 25 mins into the game as well.

It's not just Villa.

Villa hasn't been too impressive, Torres made the first goal for him and the second goal was one of the best passes I've seen in quite some time.

Villa is playing well, but I wouldn't say its him thats destroying Russia.  The second goal was shot straight at the keeper, luckily fell through his legs.  His name is just lucky enough to be put on the goals.

Spain 3 Russia 0

Villa hat-trick

Alonso coming on as a sub.

Forget about Villa.

We could never afford him before this tournament and could not possibly afford him now.

He'll go to Real Madrid.

Defensive work was brilliant made three fantastic clearences , all over the pitch again work rate exellent , Looked to me like Holland a gonna be using him in a similar position that we do out wide. The lads trackin back was first class.

He actually looks one of the better players in the Dutch team.

bringin Torres off was a strange choice for me, can't work it out :s

Alonso was quiet when he came on didn't really influence the game too much but didn't make any mistakes

Yes, at the end of the first half he didn't do anything too special.  Those are 2 basic goals, you can't miss those.  Other then that he was just shoot shoot shoot, all poor shots.  One good pass to Torres, but that was it.

Second half though he did deserve his goal and was the best player.  But I stand by my first half statement.

I think Torres is still being rested because his injury.
