watch his goals in the CL final and his goal today plus the one that wasnt given when he was ONside............best striker  around for my money

We can beat this team, we just did not have it on this day.  Dissapointing to see us play like that in the 2nd half especially after playing well in the 1st.  I thought we were creating more in the midfield and had better link up play in the first until they scored and then we seemed to hang our heads a bit.  After the second goal that was it.  Kinda dissapointing to see the players do that after being down cause they know they can come back.  They've done it before.   Crouch needs to be more aggressive with his headers he had so many good chances but couldn't get enough behind them to really trouble cech.  Hopefully we can come back strong next game and get back on track.

Our players are mentally fatigued.

NO. Rafa made a wrong "move" again . 1st we played better 4-5-1 ( more defend ). He should bring in Cisse in 2nd half to replace Warnock (4-5-1 attack ). Risse played on LB. HK should play on LM and Cisse play on the RM. DONT touch the CM ( SG, Alonso and sissoko ) , they have already win in the CM.

Oh well i suppose you can take a positive out of the fact that if Robbie was on the pitch he would have stuck atleast two away.

we were dominating for the first 35 mins. We played pure class for those 35 mins.
Somewhat in the second half the team just dove into a depression.
The back line looked like they werent arsed. There was no one up front for crouch. And crouch at the moment only gets his head to the ball. Im not critising anyone, Im just sayin Liverpool are well capable of winning games and they need the spirit  that they had in the first half IN EVERY GAME.

Anyway, lets not moan over this result. We need to stay behind the team and Im sure they will address these issues for next game.

You said we were gon loose before the game even started.

Yes and was i right?

every time chelsea went forward second half they looked like they were going to put the ball in the back of the net.

We didnt.

Even the brum game on wednesday required a midfielder Gerrard to score for us. weres the strikers?

Crouch's job is to score goals for all his hold up ability. he missed at least 3 good headers.

I would never disagree Crespo is not quality however I just don't think he has been as consistently good as Henry has in the Prem.  Granted he hasn't had the same time in the prem the last couple of years, but Henry with his pace, skill and shot not to mention his consistently good performances (except this year) clinch it for me.

Thats a bit over the top isnt it........We lost to a team costing 200million,we dominated utd the other week.........

We will still finish 2nd.........The lads dont need that kind of fecking support.

indeed we got chances and we didnt finish it while chelsea had it, imo its the matter of our team lackin the finishing , we are better than them all way round and we were dominated because the 2nd goal killed our spirit

We were lucky to lose 2:0 . JM plans to "maul" us and to show the world that they are better than us. He still "cant" let go the lost of the CL last season at Anfield.
