I was thinking the same thing Igor. I think we will scrape through agianst Leverkusen in a tight affair at the BayArena.

For me Barca are too good a side to be kept scoreless, so Chelsea will need to score 2 goals to take it into extra time, and I think they will bottle it. Barca through just.

ManU have no chance in hell IMO. Theu couldn't score at home with all those chances, what chance do they have of keeping Milan scoreless and scring a couple of goals at the San Siro.

Arsenal could still go through, but TBH they never seem to perform at their best in Europe and I can't see them winning 2-0 or by 3 clear goals.

What are you talking about? The game has not finish yet. We still have 2nd leg to go. If we played like children we might end up losing.

Good Omen but I dont want to speak to soon :)
BUT On the three other occasions when Liverpool have leaked goals to German opponents at Anfield, they have lifted a European trophy.

Also if we are the only english team to go through, it will give Steven Gerrard an awful lot to think about :;):
Drogba = 22 million
Morientes, Alonso, Garcia = 22 million :D

REM: We haven't go into the next round yet.  Remember the last time we took a lead to BayArena?

lets face it, we are the only english team looking good in the champions league right now. i don't see man u getting anything in the san siro, arsenal are too ineffective against a good bayern side and have a poor defence, chelsea are close but barca are a bit too good for them and will score in london.

we still have our work to do but i'm convinced we can score in germany and will win a tight game. so the 'big 3' can just concentrate on the league. lol

Once again as soon as Marklfc arrives into a thread it turns into a slanging match. Marklfc, you cause a lot of agro pal, just think about the wording of your posts before you post them. Sometimes they're a little aggressive sounding. Your probably a nice enough lad, you don't need to be a keyboard gangsta.

peace:)

oh, i almost forgot, we're in a great position to progress. Our destiny is in our own hands. Personally if Stevie G leaves at the end of the season i'll be disappointed, he wanted Champ.league footie and he's got it at liverpool. Come on Stevie, sort it out lad.

My assessment:

Arsenal: Toure's goal was a miracle for them. They can do it, but I don't think they will. Bayern will score at Highbury.

Man UTD: are very capable of turning the tie around but I think Milan will kill the game off.

Chelsea: I'm very confident they will progress.

Liverpool: Bayer will give us a hiding at times on Germany but although I think we'll lose away to them I think we will score and go through. However, it really shouldn't be that way as the tie would have been over before Franca's goal.

agree with that mostly. Arsenal and Man utd are almost certainly out, but i think we'll just scrape, as for Chelsea im not sure, but they will probably make it aswell.
