He done alright actually a few stray balls but whats new about that were used to it. Kewell had a good run out aswell scored to make it 2-0 but his passing was poor

Thought he played well, needs to work on his defending though, certainly played better last week.

Joe what do you make of the kid Plessis looks a good prospect for the future to me i thought he had a shakey start tonight but then held the mid well

do you think he is similar to momo?

I think he is better than Momo, but he has a tendancy to almost only look for the most simple pass (which some people like) and he had a tendancy to go negative in the attack which at times I thought slowed us down when a more creative ball could have really opened them up. He seems to be pretty solid in defense though despite having a sort of lanky look about it, I wonder how he would do amongst the other big boys.  Certainly seems to have an advantage over Mascha in the air but thats it at this point (which isn't a knock on him)

Solid performance last night from the young lads. Agger and particularly Alonso looked efficient and took command well. Kewell sort of flattered to deceive up until his well taken goal. Skrtel, also got a useful 45 in, and was unlucky to strike the bar later in the match.
As for the rest...Insua and Nemeth, along with the steady, unfussy Plessis can't be too many miles away from being considered for a bigger stage at some point in the not too distant. The rest of the lads played their part (Flynn, Spearing, Darby) without setting any trees alight - and almost completely dominated the game, reducing the Man Utd team to very little reward. Nice to see Mr Neville getting a warm reception from the 'home' supporters too!

Overall, the reserve squad is one that can be viewed with some degree of well placed optimism for the future. Many of whom, maybe already knocking on the big boss' door pretty much sooner than expected.

The Ressies are on against Bolton were winning 1-0 Nemeth but a great run by Putterill
Aggers doing nicely

Aggers just put a fantastic pass to Putterell and he hit the bar brilliant play. This reserve team is quality Nemeth must surley be knocking on Raffa door

Anyone else think that the female presenter (forgot her name, Claire something I think?) on LFC TV is a total hottie?

She can have 60 minutes on the couch with me.  :wwww

does anyone  else think the channel is a bit repetive and could show a bit more of whats going on behind the scenes with more player interviews and goings on rather than ask DJ  SPOONY or whatever his name is who is best team is?

:nod . But it's early days , hopefully things will get better.

Must admit, even though they're repeats, the re-runs of our games
minus the Andy Gray commentary are by themselves worth the subscription money .

:D
