IS THIS MAN GOOD ENOUGH? IS HE REALLY WHAT WE WANT?
I KNOW HE HAS THE ABILITY BUT HAS HE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A LIVERPOOL PLAYER ?
I REALLY DO NOT KNOW , I CANT DECIDE . WHAT DO U LOT THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:)
When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

most certainly
provided gh doesnt turn him into a turtle and gives him the freedom to run and create and score...he'll be a 12-16 goal a season player for us...believe me, if he stays injury free and has freedom, we will win the title...

Ive got a mate who is a mad Leeds fan and he was telling me last night Kewell is the type of player who only turns it on in the big games i dont know if thats the case or not as i dont watch leeds regularly.
but after watching him tear the england defence apart when he played for oz id gladly take him.
you'll never walk alone

kewell loves liverpool
he has wanted to join us all along but wasnt sure if gh wanted him...earlier when he said money wasnt the only consideration, he meant that if liverpool bid 4 him, and paid him fairly, even if a club ie the mancs offered more, he'd come to anfeild...
he'll play with his heart every game im sure...he's followe the club all his life!
isnt that what we all want, players who play for us to have always supported us?

gathering from what i've just read the deal has hit a "hitch".
Is the master of Decoy GH up to his old tricks??? ONE smooth transfer is what I want....JUST ONE!

As ive learnt with liverpool signings in the past especially with the bowyer farce...it aint over until its over!!

The hitch has been caused by HK's agent, who is demanding Harry's contract at Leeds be paid up in full because he could have left on a free at the end of next season. His agent also claims they never asked for a transfer, yet Harry says he has been talking to Liverpool for 6 months.Kewells agent is the problem because he knows this is his one and only big payday,so he is trying to squeeze every last drop of commission from the deal.

its a shame as far as im concerned that a fiasco has broken out about the transfer...it appears that leeds got far better offers for hk and wanted to explore those options...hk didnt want anything to do with it and his manager said "ffffuuuuuuuck u" to leeds and that hk would walk to anfield on a bosman...at that moment hk's manager advised pool to offer hk 2mill in cash and reduce the bid to 5mill to leeds...hk was also paid out his contract by leeds b/c he didnt put in 4 a transfer and leeds sought to sell him cause he wouldnt sign a new deal...
im not sure how much of this is true, but i do know that hk had decided he was coming to pool well b4 all this became public knowledge...he did an interview in aussie about 4 weeks ago and kept mentioning what it meant to him that liverpool was a great side when he was a kid growing up and how much that encouraged him to follow his dreams and go and play in england...
kewell manager played the wide eyed leeds board as stooges and thats exactly what they were...they shouldve been looking to re-sign an asset like hk 2 years ago and not so close to the end of his contract...the fact that they left it so late is what cost them and not hk or his managers attempts at getting the most for his client...after all, thats his job...
theres no point to sooking after the fact about how the transfer took place...they sound like a kid who lost his lunch money cause he was rolling around in the sand pitt all day...simply, they were careless with his contract and thats what their attitude deserved...they claimed he was worth 50mill a few years ago, so how could u allow a 50mill asset run out his contract to within 6 months of allowing the player to do a pre arrangement with another club...what buffoons!

Spot-on and it sickens me how the manc biased Daily Mirror is already building a hate campaign directed at Kewell.I'm sure the same paper will welcome Bugs Bunny from PSG with open arms, hailing him the greatest footballer since Pele,if he signs for the trash.
