When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

apparantly his brother said his preferrd option was to the scum, but i have a feeling his countrymates at real may have a word to him...its not so much that i fear him going to the mancs, (bugs wont suit english footy anyway, and im sure there'll be plenty of englsih lads kicking him after what happened at the world cup) its more that i just rather see the mancs squirm at not getting what they want...

I think buck teeth is goin to the mancs now isn't he?? sure it says so in the paper!!
How good is it though that Kewell turned that scum down to come to us when he could have received more wages!! Shows that no matter how much money they have they still can't get what they want. :D  :p

I'm not at all bothered about Ronaldinho joining the scum, i think he'll adapt to our game in the same way as Veron has...not at all !! Kewell turning them down for us will really get on Fergie's nerves and  that makes it even better,he knows we have signed the best attacking midfielder in the Premiership and that it will make us even stronger...i can't wait until we play them. I will Love it if we beat them...i say love it !!

lads
i can feel fergies fear
i can feel that he knows the tide is turning
he is trying hard to keep his cool and so the mancs can continue on but i can feel that he knows that the super power that is anfeild is ready to rise, ready to take our rightful spot...
he knows we have a young team and they have been together 4 a few years...he knows our lads are hungry and our club has ambition...and he knows his time is over...

:D I hope Fergie isn't scared,i hope he's his usual cocky arragant self who things he can do no wrong...because it  will make it even more enjoyable seeing his face near the end of the season when he realises the title has gone to his most hated rivals, even after he's spent millions on another so called superstar.

he has wanted to join us all along but wasnt sure if gh wanted him...earlier when he said money wasnt the only consideration, he meant that if liverpool bid 4 him, and paid him fairly, even if a club ie the mancs offered more, he'd come to anfeild...
he'll play with his heart every game im sure...he's followe the club all his life!
isnt that what we all want, players who play for us to have always supported us?

I read in the CM this morning that Kewell is LFC's top scorer so far this season.
