How would you comment on Keanes er comments.

Personally I think its sour grapes and he is clinging on. Im sure others will have much stronger viewsSkysports.com ???
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Its a pity. Some players (even though they were great a few seasons ago), can't accept the fact that they are not good enough anymore. With his hip injury, i don't think he can impose himself as before. To think the gerrard and himself are in the same class is bad enough. To think the he is better than gerrard....is a load of &^*(.

Typical scum attitude, still think they are the best in the country.

Yeah, another season at UTD and he will be off to either a lower league team, non league team or back home to Ireland to play for someone over there.

I personally watched him last season and thought he was past it then, not as much running left in his legs and stuff and he doesn't really seem to press foward or go back. He likes to stay put in around midfield to probably save his legs.

Lets hope it symbolises Utds decline

I admire his never say die attitude but obviously if he can show more class and not as big headed, people would appreciate him more. If he simply left out those name and said he still can compete at the highest level, that should came out better than what he said.???

What a muppet, he's not even in the same league as Gerrard, he was a similar player when he was young but he just can't admit he only has another season or two at the most before he move to an easier league like Scotland (Celtic) :D

In my opinion Celtic would be a too big of a job for him. Don't forget Scottish football is similar to English football only on a lesser scale.

"The manager was very complimentary about Gerrard and there's no doubt he is a very good player - but I still feel I am better than him and that's not being big-headed.

then what is being big-headed. your just in denial roy

He's still quality.

He can still perform at the highest level aswell and i think has the ability and know how to compete with Gerrard, but he's not better than him anymore. The tables have turned i think. Keanes got worse and Gerrards improved. The season before last i'd have said they were equal. Now, Gerrard's the better player.

i agree
i dont think keane has much left in the tank now. in his prime, he was probably the best midfielder in the premier lge but gerrard i think will be as good as him.
