Didi was a game-changer.  Like in the CL final, he came on and changed the complexion of the game.  Cool and calm under pressure, he was consistent in every aspect of the game.

We shall miss you, Didi.

the best big money signing Houlier made.  Has been a great servant to the team and i don't blame him for moving on.  His career is at its sunset and he deserves to play out his last 2 seasons of his career, and no spend them on the bench.

Good luck and thanks for everything Didi  :bowdown

I think that Didi Hamann has made our team in the last 8 years, there was a period when we were not concerned if Owen or Fowler was playing but if Hamann was.

No one can match the sheer proffesionalism shown by Hamann these 8 years, his dedication to our club, his presence in our team.

I wish him every sucess in the future and truly believe he will be a Kop legend in times to come.

I only wish he could come back as a coach and teach Momo the tricks of the trade.

Have to say, we will miss hamann if he does go. He is the reason why we won the champions league. For that, he will always be a legend.

Hope he goes to a better team than bolton... he is too classy for them.
