Apparently he's got a chance this kid (not implying that I've got any inside knowledge or anything because I haven't). He's the best kid they've had in ages though rumour has it, and as such I think is definately worth a punt. Rather than him disappearing into the depths of our multi national peace keeping force pool of youngsters, I'd like to see him loaned out for a season to Wolves, or West Brom or even West Ham (even teams who don't start with a W would be good) if he's up to it. I think this is the new way with kids, otherwise they aren't going to get a good enough bite at the cherry and they'll never develop/we'll never know.

right throw him in the deep end Rafa. First game of next season he's in the team. lets see what he's got. We can't lose anything as some folk will claim our seasons ended by then anyway.

I can see this being another :

Anderson (signed from Hull) - playing for Forest
Hobbs (signed from Lincoln) - now Leicester City's POTY
Martin (signed from MK Dons) - loaned out since being signed to lower divs

There's three off the top of my head, two apps between them for the reds. That's not to say Jonjo won't succeed, but he's up against big signings for a place and what experience has he? League One. Maybe he'll be our Fabian Delph.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

He needs to be played frequently. He has a name like a carribian reggae singer which is putting me off though.

I hope so but knowing Rafa, not sure if he even makes it to the bench. Pacheco comes to mind.

I thought he sounded more like something you buy in B&Q.

Im sure he'll get plenty of opportunities here though......observing etc. If he's indeed good enough (which many are attesting to) then he will emerge.

I would like to see more of the lower ranks get their stage (somehow) this year. Pacheco and one or two others really should be getting more of an airing this time round.

Agree with the poilcy of recruiting top young players totally and now its down to the lad to make an impression and if he does that the manager is brave enough to chuck him in. Its easy to crush a young kids confidence that can often never be regained so the main thing now is that if he does a good job hes given first team game time and allowed to progress. I dont think thats happended under the current regime so I just hope they have decided to try new things and start giving theses boys a chance to shine.
