How players are we short of winning the league

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Iamheretoplease » Mon Dec 05, 2005 1:29 pm

38 games a season. So far we havent gone to Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Bolton. We have played 14 games and we have already twice.

To win the league you can lose a minimum of 2 games. So we have to go ona heck of a run to get close to chelsea. but with the players we have we all know hand on our heart that we dont have enough quality.

Hand on your heart if we were to win the league in the next three years how many players do you think would be in that team that are present today.

i say 4 - gerrard, alonso, carragher and reina.

garcia - goes missing in away games.
morientes - goes missing for 60 mins.
crouch - i would take a toni or iquinta any day of the week.

oh and please buy Ballack.

i am a liverpool fan but i dont sit and look people in the eyes and defend peter crouch, garcia, josemi, hyypia. i say to them straight i wanna win the league and these have to go.

i want world class players at our footbal club not gonzalez from albacete. i want someone like sorin from villarreal, zambrotta from juventus. i want to see a midfield off gerrard, alonso, ballack and simao not harry kewell.

everytime liverpool win we all say how great it is. i enjoy winning like everyone else but i want to win the league. i am a realist and you dont win the league with average players especially with todays money.

bandwagon...a bandwagon supporter is a fan that cheers when they win and boos when they lose.

if i see a good player for the opposing team i applaud them if they do something incredible like Matt Le Tissier, Erik Edman, Thierry Henry.

thats how i was raised. support the club with all your heart but always expect the best players as we are the best team in the world.

we have players that arent fit to wear the shirt. we wont win the league for at least two years unless benitez buys real quality.

Ballack isn't a winger, he's a midfielder we dont need. [Gerrard,Alonso,Hamann,Sissoko] Don't need him.

Luca Tony is banging in the goals in Italy, how would he adapt in the Premiership?

P1ss off

No, someone who starts supporting a team just when they become successful.
What you describe is a Bluenose
