One word Fella obsessed !  you are in dire need of a holiday ,so why don't you pack your bags and go and chill on a beach somewhere ,but don't forget your little stat book or the proverbial soapbox you perpetually take a stance on .
I listen to fans like you at Anfield all the time and while your bleating and whining about our team ,we are being out sung by teams who have never won  sweet fa, but still have the passion to support their team in a show of audible voracity .
I consider your posts, whilst I hasten to add not all, a mite condescending, and to list all The Mancs injuries certainly smacks of desperation .
I suggest you remember the times you so affectionately recollect,, and hark back when true fans frequented our hallowed ground, and acted with the dignity, that used to set us apart from the rest so spectacularly, that our fans were once revered around the world.

I listed all the injuries because I couldn't be bothered to pick out the important ones. Easier to copy and paste than pick them out.

Why should I be desperate, EXCEPT FOR A TITLE CHALLENGE ?
It seems to me its the the ones who think Rafa is some sort of genius that are the desperate ones, as every season we fail miserably in the league and then the excuses start.

It shows the confidence when the excuses have already started without a ball being kicked.

So why don't you go and support one of the teams where expectations are less and they sing so loud if thats what rocks your boat. Myself I am quite happy wanting wishing hoping and dreaming about success for the team I support Liverpool.

If you think 4 seasons without a challenge is success, maybe you should try talking to the people who moan and groan, because they probably remember a time when coming 4th was FAILURE not heralded as some sort of success by know nothing clowns.

Its obvious your a Google freak ,but instead of shoving useless stats down peoples throats ,try penning a deposition with a tad more substance .
Listen fella (Posts: 11050) concludes this forum is an integral and substantial part of your life ,but not mine I  prefer to offer my support vocally, in a vain attempt to drown out the dissenting voices ,that are growing like a tumor at  my once glorious club.
I suggest you leave your computer and witness how real fans react ,fans that like our illustrious club are steeped in tradition .

I would rather be a google freak than just a freak like you, a so called "REAL FAN" that accepts mediocrity and failure and tries to call it success.

The problem with people like you is that just because you are happy with failure, you think that others should be as well, well I for one am not.

I have seen the good times and the bad times and I can't ever remember a time when coming 4th without coming close to a title challenge was accounted success before.

YOU MAKE ME LAUGH - I have been supporting Liverpool for over 40 years and you think I need a know nothing "REAL FAN" to tell me how to support them

Now run along and sing about the glories of coming 4th or maybe sing about the glories that you have heard about but NEVER SEEN.

I will sit here googling and reliving the titles and cups I have seen us win and looking forward to the next one, rather than defending a season in which we made no challenge and won no cups.

Rather than moaning about "useless stats" maybe you should be questioning the person who moans about our injuries and then says "what injuries have the mancs had"

Try googling mate, you may find that we used to do quite well in the league, I think we may even have won it once or twice. Of course that was probably before your time

S@int, I like to be fair, and I defended very recently your right to criticise the manager, and your right to be concerned.

But, this is the kind of statement that later generates hot discussions, do you honestly think that Redbeergoogles, me, or anyone that is considered a Rafa supporter are happy with failure?

I don't think so. We want Rafa in, because we think he's so far, the most appropiate so that we end the drought of league titles, which is too long.

This incoming season, we'll have either more Rafa supporters if we win the league, or we'll have more Rafa doubters if we fail to challenge, and btw, if this happens, probably the rafa doubters will be more than the rafa trusters. And that's natural.

Read his posts again Sabre, he is not talking about our successes or failures, all he is obssessed with is being a so called "REAL FAN" AND HOW LOUDLY WE SING. Personally I prefer to worry about us actually winning something to give us something to sing about, rather than looking with envious eyes at lesser clubs where they sing because they have achieved their "success" by managing to stay in the prem.

You're sticking the boot in pretty hard for someone with 18 posts to his name.*  I suggest you take a breath, relax and do a little research.  Read through some old threads and get a sense of people around here and their views before you jump down their throats--you'll probably find that Saint's a top fella who contributes a hell of a lot to this board.  Even if you don't, I'll insist that you stick to debating the issues rather than start in with the name-calling and the "I'm a better supporter than you" nonsense.  It's not big and it's not clever. :no

*Unless, of course, you're an alter ego who's come back to reignite an old dispute? ???

Now look at how long each player was out for, when we had players from the same position out at the same time, and who was missing.

The vast (and I mean VAST) majority of the scum's injuries didn't keep them out for any length of time.

As an aside, I can't honestly believe you stooped this low to try and prove the point...

Seems to me you you have stooped just as low mate and without the excuse of making a point. I never said Liverpool haven't had injuries have I?

All teams get injuries, its not something new. The only injury in my estimation that was catastrophic for our season, was the Agger injury. Apart from that its the same old story.

Maybe if we had bought a new CB instead of gambling on getting Heinze last summer even the Agger injury would have been more manageable.

I am not going to get embroiled in a petty dispute ,Its obvious there is a click on this forum and you will all band together .
I have just received a warning from the moderators so however much I would like to berate. I must decline your kind invitation ,So whilst I read saints  hate filled rants ,I can no longer proffer my opinion as it is deemed to vigorous by the mods.
I wasn't declaring I was a better supporter than anyone else ,just a different one who at 43 yrs has spent 36 of them watching my team,( notice I used the word my again) ,instead of slating them in front of a computer
Another point i must clarify is I am not a newbie and originally had 500 posts before my username became invalid, thus I was forced to re-register Albeit under the same name .
