Better than anything we have in their respective roles - and probably since they left
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Both were my idols as a kid. Was gutted when Beardsley was sold.

Been having massive arguaments lately, who was better in prime, giggs or barnes. Pre injury i'd say Barnes 8 days a week

giggs wouldn't even be good enuff to tie barnes boots not even in same league.

Barnes for me one the best ever liverpool player he could do any thing and normaly did was poet of football.

Makes me laugh when someone on here a few weeks ago said that Babel was the new Barnes..  The guy was world class, and in my opinion there has only been one No 7 better than Beardsley in a Liverpool shirt..
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I forget how good we were!  I still maintain that the game against Notts Forest was the best overall display  I have ever seen!!

Was lucky enough to be at the 5 nil game against forest - still the best display of football by a club team by a mile - so hard to pick which was the best - all top quality - think i still got the vhs video review of tht season with the whole of that 5-0 game on it .

I loved Barnes - freakin' genius! He always made something happen. The thing I remember about that era was the absolute confidence and belief that Liverpool played with - no matter when the other team scored - Liverpool would score a hatful more. Definitely the best Liverpool player I remember before Stevie.

Thats a joke.  Barnes in his prime was the best LW in Europe.  He was an amazing player who without a European Ban would of played in minimum 1 European Cup Final.

A lot of people say how faster the game is these days and question how teams in the past would do in today's game.  I can see why Steve Mcmahon always says this side would do just fine.
