what a shame...the match official being pressured to play the game until the score favours the mancs...

The form of our two star players also concerns me.  Torres could have, and by his standards, should have had two or three yesterday.  I also thought Gerrard was poor first half, apart from one great ball that Dossena headed onto the bar, and although he improved second half he wasn't at the peak of his game.

John, wasn't the change of Torres that ended up in the woodwork a perfect 1-2 with Gerrard? I ask because I thought in the first glance it was Stevie and the play was a piece of art.

I disagree about the game I have a more positive view of it, but this is about views.

Torres hasn't been his best in the Spain international games, but I'm not worried, this up and downs are normal and not that his game has been bad at all.

Yeah you're right Sabre.

That was a great piece of interplay between the two.  I'm not saying they were sh.ite by any stretch of the imagination, but Torres was missing chances he usually puts away with ease and Gerrard struggled to get into the game for long periods.  i'm still hopeful they were just readjusting after the international break and will be back to their best to tear Chelsea to pieces on Wednesday :nod

John Terry has sort of put the pressure on us by saying he is 'dreading' playing us on Wednesday. To be honest we seem to play better when we are underdogs so I hope the lads approach this game with the right amount of caution.

Liverpool has an enormous experience in Champions league, the words of Terry is like trying to fight against the wind, Carragher is still laughing.

I hope so Alex. I know in Europe we normally do well but it's been a while since we have been fighting in the league at this stage of the season so I don't want to see it all slip away in a mess. :D
