Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Just been reading the forum on their opinions of the FA Cup win.

JEALOUS that they only won the Mickey Mouse Cup & we just won the FA Challenge Cup.

At least the positive thing is that they have nothing degrading to say about Steve G.

As one (winnie_999) pointed out by saying:

"I don't think the hammers were robbed. Gerrard is just too good".

For once thats the most smartest thing anyone from scum forum has ever said so far.

winnie_999 is always level headed, I used to post there ( as chelsea forever did here ) and he always tell's it like it is. I enjoy the rivalry very much, but some of the post's made there are very hateful and bitter.

C'mon, you wouldn't say that if we won it.

I enjoy the rivalry against the mancs, I knew a few (ones from Manchester that is) when I was at Uni. They aren't all knobs.

Once I leave the ground, that's it, I leave the aggro behind.

who really cares about football fans that believe rubbish like 'if it wasn't for gerrard we'd get beaten most weeks'? gerrard is a good player and no mistake but i'm not entirely sure he was the man responsible for those 33 clean sheets this season. not entirely sure he was wholly responsible for knocking the mancs out of the cup either.

why can't we all just be friends? :D

Bitter Bitter Manc tw*ts  :rasp  :rasp   :p  :p
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

It was nice that they dropped out of the European group stage to concentrate on their real goal - the League Cup.

i like this comment about Gerrards 2nd goal. You know the one, the best goal ever in an FA cup final.

"Not as good as Erics v Dippers in 96. Through a crowded area, eric going backwards pure class
Gerrards :censored: bounced twice before he hit it, all the time in the world to decide what to do"

:D  really?

that cantona one? that was the one in the worst cup final ever right where neither team looked at all botehred if they would win it or not. then you got gerrard hitting a 30 yard half volley screamer in the dieing seconds to make a game 3-3 in the 125th cup final and the final one (?) at the millenium stadium?

oh yeah, just the same
