FA CUP 5TH ROUND DRAW - barnsley at home

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Teams in FA Cup fifth-round draw:

1. Arsenal
2. Coventry City
3. Huddersfield Town
4. Bristol Rovers
5. Chelsea
6. Liverpool
7. Barnsley
8. Southampton
9. Manchester United
10. Portsmouth
11. Preston
12. Wolves
13. West Bromwich Albion
14. Sheffield United
15. Middlesbrough
16. Cardiff

I suppose at this stage all you ask for is a home draw. Amazing that there are only 6 premiership teams left at this stage though.

Out of the list, Huddesfield or Preston would probably be the best draw, with two of the other big three drawing each other.

Bring it on.

As long as we miss the top 3 any other team will be good really.

I have had a funny feeling we are going to draw WBA, I hope I am wrong cos I also got the funny feeling we will lose :(

Anyone else outside the top 3 at home would be nice, with Chelsea drawing the mancs and Arsenal travelling to Portsmouth.

Good, bring them on!  We'd have to face them sooner or later.

i want us to get them , wake up call for the lads , they will have to step up and perform , i don't think the lads will be intimidated by them , heck united almost got beat by a spurs side with a makeshift defence ,credit to ramos he's doing one hell of a job , using midfielders for covers for the full backs and also playing them there. There's no point in winning a cup if u get easy draws all the way , it proves nothing if u win it and play divison sides or non leaguers. BRING on United , Chelsea and Arsenal  :buttrock

Id say weve been fortunate in the cup. To get Luton then a non league team in fact id say we were pretty lucky !

No grumbles here. One of Man U and Arsenal are going out, and we're at home.
