Yeah we play the first leg at home mate, won't be easy going over there especially if we need a result in the second leg.

I  know mate, I would sooner play at their place first ,Liverpool are  nervous enough without walking into a cauldron of wall to wall noise needing a result to progress.

Lets say at this stage Bournemouth looks a pretty big obstacle forget about another European side. We are currently the underdog against almost everyone in this tournament.

Funny enough I thought the winner of this years competition would automatically secure a group place alongside the winners of the CL but apparently its only into the playoffs

I think any draw we could have pulled would be tough but we have more than enough time to prepare for this as its not till the 19th and 26th of February. With any luck we will have turned it around for ourselves by then.

BESIKTAS chiefs have sworn to avenge one of the most humiliating defeats in their history after being drawn to face Liverpool in the Europa League.

The Reds thumped the Turkish side 8-0 the last time the two sides met, and director Ahmet Nur Cebi is adamant Besiktas will make amends in the last 32 tie in February.

“Liverpool should be more concerned about us than we are about them,” he said. “We will knock Liverpool out. There is an account which wasn’t settled in England from previous years – that 8-0 defeat. We’ll settle the account now.”

Besiktas have already beaten Tottenham in the Europa League this season and lost to Arsenal in the Champions League play-offs.

That's all we need, another team with a score to settle.

Couldn't have been much worse to be honest. They're a good team and they'll want revenge for the 8-0. The way I see it though, Europa League is all we've got to fight for now. Forget about the league, that fight is over. The good thing is, if we win the Europa League we'll qualify for the CL and that's our only chance to save the season. Hopefully Sturridge will be back by then, so maybe we'll have a chance.
