Too many logos on those shirts, they look like the front page of the 'Exchange and Mart'.

The only logo is the Adidas logo.  Or are you talking about the shirt number in the center?  With the Standard Chartered as the shirt sponsor of course.

It's carra , agger , Johnson , gerrard and insua

Trust Insua to be the one way out of position! (EDIT of the back four who are all but jogging in formation)

Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Carra: Where the Fook did Insua go?
Agger: I don't know I told him to stay next to me
Gerrard:  Glen, Have you seen Insua?
Johnson:Skip, he's right behind you, I told him he's supposed to be over there.

Wigan eye £2m wantaway PSV defender Carlos Salcido as Liverpool and Stoke prepare bid for Manyor Figueroa

Wigan are lining up a cut-price £2million move for Mexico defender Carlos Salcido.

Manager Roberto Martinez has targeted the PSV Eindhoven left back as a possible replacement for Maynor Figueroa, with the Honduran wanted by Liverpool and Stoke.
Salcido's adviser Lyle Yorks has told PSV technical director Marcel Brands about Wigan's interest in the 30-year-old, who can also play at centre back.

Salcido wants to move after a fall-out with PSV coach Fred Rutten.

£2m for Salcido?? - go for it!

See the Mirror linking us with Bridge this morning. i'd be more than happy with that, he's already living in the north-west so there's no relocation issue. Good player for me, i'd personally take him ahead of Konchesky, not so sure about Figeroa because I haven't really watched the lad. Not sure how much he'd cost but if we can get £5 million for Insua then spending £7 mill on Bridge doesn't seem like a bad piece of business.

Saying that, if we can get Salcido for £2 mill i'd be all over that!!!! Maybe buy both players seen as we're so short at LB.

Honestly I think Bridge would be a HUGE mistake. I don't know what's wrong with the bloke (apart from John Terry and half the Chelsea squad tubbing his bird obviously, I suppose that would distract you a bit in fairness) but for me he's gone. He is pacelss and has developed an almost Skyrtelesque penchant for ball watching. I really think we should avoid him. By all accounts he's a bit of a c... as well, which isn't really important I suppose (whereas Joey Cole is apparently from many who know him "the nicest geezer you could ever meet, an absolute fackin diamond"). Salcido did look good in the World Cup, although each time he gets over the half way line he has a shot which would no doubt get annoying after a while.

I watched a few Wigan re-run matches in their entirity though while I was in NZ (the time just flies by there) and honestly, Figeroa is a really good player in my opinion. I really do think some people will be surprised by how good he actually is when they properly watch him. Out of all the left backs mentioned so far, he'd be far and away my first choice.

Salcido is 200% better than Bridge or Figueroa or Insua or any of the other players we've been linked with ... 2mill is nothing for this guy... Im guessing the fact that hes 30 and has a contract running up in another season or so are the reason but regardless i think we should be in for him !

We could use the extra money we save to bring in a better striker backup or to improve elsewhere in the squad... Bridge isnt a bad player but 7mill for a leftback is still big money imo...

So to summarise we're looking at one of:

Wayne Bridge
Taye Taiwo
Reto Ziegler
Salcido
Cissokho
Konchesky
Figeroa
Capdevilla (just for nanny)

Out of all them, my preferences would be Salcido or Figeroa (considering the transfer fee in each case)

i've mentioned it before but i think that bridge is the weakest LB amongst all the top sides. i don't know what happened to him but the good form he showed a few seasons back is gone completely. i'm all the for argument of going for figeora AND salcido - 2 million for him is a bargain. and there we go, 2 good left backs for under 10 million. laughing.

besides with insua and mascherano on the way out, our south american quota needs rebuilding.
