Crouchinho - Crouching peter, hidden target

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Dannyboy » Thu Nov 24, 2005 12:33 pm

Crouchy did play well and for me he is not just there to score goals. the fact he hasnt scored yet is a shame for the lad but there is more pressure being put on him by the press the first question that got fired at him lastnight was that he hasnt scored again. how is the man meant to relax and play his gamw if all the focus is on him scoring. i say lay off the guy and when he scores then he will end up scoring a few more. i hope Rafa sticks by him too. if Crouchy see's that his manager trusts him then that is a major confidence builder.

What i will say is tho, when he does score some woman is gonna get it tight that night.:p :p

the goal will come. it has to.

shocking analogy Saint mod..  :no

but anno what you mean  :D

Benitez is a master of the game, tactically thorough and sound, he has bought players after having them watched and considering how they will fit in to his brand of football.

Stevie Gerrard is brimming with confidence, about this season and the future.. why? Because this man Benitez is truly inspring,  a master tactician whose road map to establishing greatness for Liverpool Football Club again.. is well on the way.

I bet Real are cacking in there pants, having missed the chance to have Benitez..  :rasp

Just remember that Real is still Benitez's favoured club.

The most memorable night for us without scoring. This is the first time i feel very excited in our goalless match. Anyway, we were through. Peter looked very sharp and he got 3 shot on target in less than 2 mins. Nice job, peter.

p/s : Gerrard should have to score in last few minutes. Hallelujah

Thought both him and mori did well , both got great feet just lacking finishing . Defenders couldnt handle them
Certainly wouldnt of brought Mori, off Cisse doesnt look arsed when he plays on the right.

Countless times he could of pulled it back to Gerrard but hit a poor cross in.

Crouch has an excellent touch for a big fella and held the ball up well . It will come ,
Wouldnt you think though Liverpool would beef him up a bit give him a Weight building diet ???

Crouch is playing the best out of are strikers at the moment but it shows how peoples differ from performance to goalscoring.

If you scored everytime you played well as a striker, Crouch would have quite a few by now, and Cisse, well hardly any in my opinion, but im not knocking cisse cos if he continues playing cr@p and scoring goals then there is absolutly no need to complain, but with Pete hes playing well but not scoring, if and when he does score, his display will have been faultless, and everyone will rave about him, trust me, when he scores you will read about how he brought other players into play, linked up well, used his vision and showed an eye for goal, but why hes not scoring they are blind to the fact hes playing well, the cu*ts.

I know you are going to find what I am going to say a little bit weird. But here in Spain, it's thought something like "to fail a glorious chance, you must be there". Meaning that actually failing a glorious chance is because you were in the right place to fail it.

There are strikers that don't appear in the whole match. He scored goals yesteryear, and there are things that cannot be forgotten. Goals will come, because he's near the goals at the moment.

BTW, Judge, I must congratulate you this time (don't get used to it), since this thread is constructive and not player bashing :P

Since that Palace game, Crouch has been getting better and he has been getting more and more chances, to work 10 chances for yourself in football match in europe you cant be a bad player, things just arnt going for him at the moment and it will probably be a game where he gets one chance and plays bad that he slots.
