if by some major miracle we go out tonight, John Arne Riise shouldn't be slaughtered. the two legs consist of 180 minutes, a rush of blood to his head doesn't define the match. If Torres had taken his chances at Anfield we'd be 3-1 up. If Mascherano put the ball in row z then the Riise incident wouldn't of came about. If Mascherano and Arebloa tried to the stop the cross, the Riise incident wouldn't of come about. If Benitez hadn't brought Riise on, then it wouldnt of come about

I am getting twitchy now, its on at 1.45 am here but luckily tomorrow is a holiday so i will get more sleep than i normally get on european nights. i do however believe that my dream will come true that i mentioned earlier, 0-0 in the 90th and crouch is brought down in the box by ferreria leading to a pen converted by gerrard, it was so clear as he ran into the box from the left hand corner of the box (our left)

Well I've booked today and tomorrow off work and it's straight the boozer for 15:30pm with the lads.  I'm getting the best seat in the house.  I'll order a curry as well I think for my tea in there around five bells.

I'm wearing the exact same T-Shirt today which I wore twelve months ago when we beat these fucks on pens at Anfield.  Not usually superstitious but I will take anything today if it means more luck...

PS I also wore said T-Shirt down in Wrexham for the pre-season game.  I think when Nabir El Zhar scored a hat trick?

It's one of the few times right now when the time diff' works in my favour. While you lot are all bricking it, I'm gonna feck off to bed in a minute and wake up hopefully about fifteen minutes before kick off. That part of the whole experience is very civilised, although I must confess watching it with only Effie the dog for company at half seven in the morning does lack a bit on the atmos' front. She will as a rule jump up and start barking by way of reaction to any exciting incidents in the game, particularly if we score, but I can't help thinking it's more of a reaction to my edginess and celebration than any great football knowledge on her part. For the record she doesn't seem to find my ramblings on the subject of association football in the least bit boring, mind you she hasn't ever read one of my posts in fairness

here's what i want to happen...

they are beating us 2-1 at 90 minutes gone, i don't care who scores but terry has already been shown yellow and is crying because he thinks he'll miss the final, the ref shows 4 minutes of extra time to be added. just before the stroke of the final second of the 4 minutes a hopeful ball is punted into the chelsea box. terry, under pressure from babel, tries to hoof it clear but miskicks terribley and cech has no chance as the ball loops up and sails past him. 2-2.
