I say we keep him for at least this season see if he improves cos he'll hav competition for places,he's already had a decent pre-season and if we do sell him(which shudnt be for less than 7 mill) then we have 2 buy another striker 2 replace him...le tallec is not a striker n pongolle is out until october a think so with the transfer window close 2 finishing its seems best jus 2 keep him

In order for you to understand why he isn't worth 14 million pounds. No club currrently is willing to pay more than 7 million, and rightfully so.

Anyway, his contract runs until 30 June 2006.

Which decreases his value more.

Could you two start a thread just for your arguments? It's getting annoying seeing you argue in evey single topic and the same things over and over.  :bump

on another note, the Czech papers were also reporting that Liverpool might let Baros come on a loan. That would certainly leave Baros a chance to prove himself, but I don't know how much sense that would make if the point here is to make some money on Baros. Sure, he is young, but him leaving for a year for a meager compensation does not help us much to get money for a defender...

Maybe RB still need him because Nando is getting old .... If I in RB position .. I would loan him off for one season ... Baros will be back with the bang ...

Extend his contract and keep him for at least one more season. He's getting older and maturing and could be ready to be a squad player withoug moaning about not always playing. Buying Crouch and selling Baros just dosent seem like strengthening our sqaud.???

Schalke say they can't afford 7 million for Baros.

I think he has to go now!! reason being if he isnt starting I can see him reverting back to the way he played last season ie; very, as he will have to prove he is worth a starting place, and will probably try and do this by scoring as many as he can whenever he plays.....which will lead to selfishness again!

Problem is the replacement, but hey we got plenty time until the window closes!
