I think the front three of Borini, Suarez and Downing will be the starting three with Sterling making an appearance in the last 30.
I also think it would be worth a shot at Borini in the middle and Suarez swapping from side to side, Borini's movement is excellent and he would find himself in lots of scoring positions.

Replace Downing with Assaidi and you've a very good trio of attackers. Assaidi's dribbling skills is very impressive, and he could easily be the type of player who gets 10 goals at least a season.

Liverpool Football Club have reached an agreement with SC Heerenveen for the transfer of winger Oussama Assaidi, subject to the player passing a medical.

The 24-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 68 appearances for Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie, will now undergo a medical at Melwood.

Assaidi has represented his native Morocco 22 times since making his international debut in February 2011.

One of the highlights of his young career came in a 6-2 win over FC Twente in 2010 when he scored a hat-trick and assisted the other three goals.  

68 goals in 22 matches with 47 assists, all for 3 million. He's obviously the new messiah.

So why did the  Dutch sell him and why for so little?

he cant play in the qualifying stages of the europa league so he cant play tonight but if we get past hearts and into the group stages he is eligible to play for us in europe then.
nothing stopping rodgers picking him for a league game, he could have picked him to play against city if he wanted to.

He did an interview earlier in the week where he said he didn’t have a proper pre-season with Heerenveen so wasn’t fit enough to be considered for the game against Man City. If he doesn’t make the squad tomorrow I expect we’ll see him for the first time against Sunderland in two weeks time.

i`d at least like to see him on the bench against sunderland, players of his type can come on and make things happen, i`d much rather see a potential game changer sitting on the subs bench than an extra defender.
he may even get a start, sterling has played quite a lot of footy recently (pre season friendlies, prem league and europa league games) so rodgers may give him a rest.
