Mascherano, Alonso, Carra and Reina all need to have good games and i think a draw would be a good result if we can come away with it... going forward theyr still miles ahead of us... dont think an open game favors our stye particularly ... kepp it tight, try to nick a goal and sit back for 90 mins...

Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool

WTF? ????

Have you seen Arsenal play lately? And you say a 3-1 loss for us?
We play better against the bigger teams, Arsenal are there for the taking and you post sh!t like that?

you forget Dawson that aCe is an Everton fan. Never a good word for the men in Red.

give it a break   :O

they'v had their share of ad results but theyv also beaten ManUtd and Chelsea so far and they did it missing quite a few players... right about now they have most of their good players back and if u'v seen em play they focus mainly on Persie, Adebayor, Nasri and Fabregas and the fullbacks coming from behind... everyone else basically passes the ball around trying to give it to an impact player who can make something happen... i think theyr a better side than theyr showing atm and its just a matter of time before theyr right back in the title race... if its their dy theres simply no stopping them... we'r too defensive and if we go a goal down early on i dont see us coming back...

would be great if we can win this... would probably end their title ambitions in all honesty... but i just cant see it happening.. if that makes me an everton fan then so fckin be it.. Osman for England  :D

So would you not be to upset if we lost 3-1 seeing as thats what you expect? You must be happy with the season so far because havent you predicted a few loses? Then you probably predicted wins agaist the likes of Stoke. Just wondering like.

first loss i predict..
i am happy with the season so far but i think it could have been even better...
and yes i did predict wins against stoke, westham and the likes.. didnt you ?

Yes mate of coarse. I wasnt having a go in a snide way (not my thing), just wondering where you were coming from thats all.

Once again the same stuff. If you think Ace is wrong and we will beat Arsenal, lovely. Explain why and there you go. Because he's seemingly got bad feelings about the game, it doesn't mean he supports Everton. Arsenal after all have got an identical record against the big four teams as ourselves. It's hardly revolutionary to think it isn't going to be a pushover.

Whats more, we are not the best team in the league going forward. Why is it abolsutely sacrilage to say that? Equally, we probably aren't as fluent as Arsenal, ditto? rather than having a pop at him for stating the truth, why not simply rejoice in the fact it doesn't matter. It's how many times you pop it in the onion bag, and fingers crossed we do it more often than them.

Just chill out with the attacks on each poster though FFS, it gets boring.

Arsenal are in :censored: dissaray at the moment, with players at war with one another and their own fans on their players back. We don't tend to do well at their ground, but this is our best chance of three points against them for a long time. They'll try and play football like they always do, they know no other way, so it's important our physical players get into them early. Remind them that we're not here to chase shadows for 90 minutes and get their fans on their back quickly. We have to distrupt their style of play and get the likes of Denilson/Song/Eboue/Gallas on edge and if Bendtnar comes on just let him have the ball because that tub of lard couldn't score in a brothel.

For us, when we have the ball it's vital we keep it and don't just give it away. Stevie and Xabi will be key for this - not the hollywood passes but plain simple possesion football and hopefully they're joke of a defence will split open for whoever plays up front to net us the goal. If that doesn't work then Stevie should have a few digs from distance because he'll get the space to, so he has to exploit it.

Come on Reds!!!

I gathered that.
In a perfect world we could all keep our cool and argue our points in a balanced and mature manner.
But I dont really see the point when all that fella does is complain and moan constantly all the time, every post he makes puts the club down.
If he maybe once in a while said something realistic or even remotely positive about the club he may be worth reasoning with.People have tried before and he just comes back with more grumbles.

DISCLAIMER(as they are of the moment)
I dont ACTUALLY think him and Heimaerroide are Siamese twins,it was to highlight the fact they are two peas in a pod and of the same mould! :D

While Arsenal have lost 22 away games in the past three and a bit seasons, they have lost no more than two at home in any of the previous SIX seasons. That said they have lost two at home already this season so there is hope for us - and we've already won six away, our Premiership best away wins is 12 and our Premiership average away wins is only a poor 7.5.

Liverpool - Most Away Wins In A Premiership Season

12 : 2001/02 (Runners-Up)
10 : 2005/06 (3rd, record Premiership points total)
9 : 1996/97 (4th, level on points with 2nd)
9 : 2002/03 (5th, also only 9 home wins after a 12 game unbeaten start)
9 : 2007/08 (4th, Rafa working out that you need to win more away to win the league?)

But unlike with Chelsea before this season, a win away to Arsenal is not that rare for us - until recently

Last Five Liverpool Wins Away To Arsenal

99/00 Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool
97/98 Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool
96/97 Arsenal 1-2 Liverpool
94/95 Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool
92/93 Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool

Since our last win away to Arsenal, they have won at Anfield FOUR times - twice in the Premiership and once in each of the cups.

Whether our recent struggles to win away to the 'big four' is more telling than their current league position (5th) and the results that make that position (P17 W9 D3 L5) is another matter. High flying Hull and villa have both won at the Emirates, I just hope Rafa doesn't go in with "a draw's a good result" in mind and maybe affect our chances of winning through a "draw is good enough" mentality.

With that in mind I'd not play Kuyt up front, wouldn't have anyway the past few games as he's been most effective on the right. Put bad boy Keane up front on his own and seriously consider putting Insua back at LB. Also let's have none of this bringing Babel on for Riera ritual, how about using what limited striker options we have on the bench for fresh legs up front or reshuffles and playing two strikers?

Reina
Arbeloa
Insua
Hyypia/Agger - depending on pace threat vs Aerial threat at either end
Kuyt
Riera
Alonso
Mascherano
Gerrard
Keane

I was going to post this on another thread but I got IKONBOARD ERROR or some nonsense. I think that means it got deleted. I'll bung it in here instead.

Well I've no idea what any of that is about but it sounds like a situation which oes way beyond football and some silly forum, nice one Bam for putting the record straight with the apology.

As for the "double standards" thing, there perhaps is a grain of truth in that. That said, I'm not advocating a ban for Lando or anybody else, but there is absolutely no question in my mind that the "pro" camp dish out abuse willy nilly and seemingly get away with it all the time. FWIW I don't mind the silly snidy comments which get put up the minute somebody says that not beating Hull at Home may not have been a great result, I just find the whole "you're a disgrace" angle a bit boring after a while. I could equally say "you're a disgrace for thinking it's a good result", but then it would just demonstrate how ridiculous a comment it is.

It just seems it's more OK to call someone who is pessimistic a c..., than it is somebody who is optimistic and I can't really understand why to be honest. As Bam said, posters like Heimdall do cop dogs abuse on here andn it's totally unnecessary. He gets accused even more than me of being "glad when we lose" the poor fecker, and although the rants are funny sometimes they do go a bit over the top I think.

Bam's ban simply highlights for me that there should be suspensions rather than indefinate bans (which aren't indefinate anyway). He and Lando should have got a verbal warning yesterday, then if they carried on a couple of days in the sin bin, job done. Truth is they're both big and daft enough to look after themselves though, so aside from whatever was said to Red they might as well have just got on with it.
