I assume you mean that a match if Basque players were not selected would we won by the Basques?

Well, Basque country would have Alonso, Del Horno, Etxeberria, perhaps Yeste, Some would stick for Arteta, but we lack a top class striker, and good defenders. Footballistically would be worse than the Joaquin, Xabi (Bar$a), Villa, Puyol and the likes.

OK . He's not spanish .... maybe that's why he have a "poor communicate" with Pepe, that's also lead to own goal.

This is what happen :When the ball came to Alonso, he said to Pepe " I going to Chest the ball to you and keep the ball ".But  Pepe thot that Alonso going to me give a SET of CHESS broad after the game. By the time Pepe relies that its Chest NOT Chess , the ball went in already.

Anyway I glad that he a Liverpool player . Cheers to Alonso
