i used to work for royal mail down the road but got posted elsewhere. to begin with it was first class but the boss addressed us one morning and said we just weren't delivering. he followed the rule book to the letter (rather than pushing the envelope) and told us we were all fired, the union said we'd been stamped upon by the bosses but i'd say it wasn't that bad, just second class.

we got a good redundancy package but it was too big for the letterbox unfortunately

I used to do sewing alterations and repairs, but i was always zipping away when i bothered to turn-up. Even tho the boss was a p.r.i.ck -I liked hem a lot, had me in stitches most of the time.
