GO TO: Lisbon, great place - nice & chilled like the Med but the people have a bit more of an English outlook on life ie. they're really up for a laugh. Me & my mate were lost in the middle of town there about 5am and had no idea how to get back to out hotel and couldn't find a cab anywhere, so we flagged a car down in the middle of the road to ask directions. This young couple in the car just said "jump in, we'll drop you off" which they duly did   Imagine you were driving through any British city and 2 p*ssed up goons try to flag you down in the street - you'd lock your doors and floor it!!

DON'T GO TO: Maidenhead. I've never in my life been to a duller town, full of lifeless corporate dummies who are as dull as ditchwater and as arrogant as Liam Gallagher. Hellhole.

.. beach is beautiful.. but the Atlantic Ocean is cold.. and the sea is a bit yellow.. stingrays swim not far from the shallow end. not dangerous though..

... for me the best ocean and beach combination, so-far, has been in Mombasa.. awesome..

.. You'll lurve it though.. are ya goin to orlando too ?

Orlando is brilliant, was there for 10 days in 1999 and loved it.

Vegas is also great.

hi Woolyback, your comments about Maidenhead reminded me of a book i ahve called "****** towns". Superb read and lists the Top 50 Crappest towns in England ..... heres a selection for you and the comments ..... :D

50. Chester - Chester is classed as a city because it has a cathedral, however its the size of a small chapel and has turned a lovely shade of black due to the amount of filth that comes out of the mouths of the locals !

Local hobbies include shoplifting, smack taking alfresco, beating up tramps and being set upon by the local girls for NOT looking at them !  :D

38. Mansfield - the largest town in England with no railway station on account of no one wanting to go there, Mansfield FC resembles a ground from 25 years ago and the local culture comprises of Bingo and hanging around the Bus Station.

32. Croydon - I went for an interview in Croydon and after it was over I asked the lady what it was like working in Croydon ? She replied "its not bad but we have had 2 sexual assaults and a shooting in outr carpark this year". it was stil January !!  ???
