BELIEFS
People fear anger because of its power to destroy themselves or and object of love.
We are told/taught that anger is wrong and therefore should not be experienced or expressed.
We respond to anger according to our beliefs about it in the past e.g. Are we frightened by it?
Do we feel threatened by it?
Are we afraid of loss of control?
We need to examine our beliefs about anger.
As adults we can choose to change our belief systems. If anger is seen as a negative and wrong, it will be denied and energy created by anger will be stored.
If anger is seen as positive – energy produced will be expressed in some way
