The problem is simple: you just don't have enough horsepower and memory to do both.

I have a new dual core X2 4400 processor which is effectively two CPUs running together, so one handles one task and the other another. That and more memory solves the problem.

So Hostel is a no-no fair enough, so what would you recommend to download?

Beware of Geeks bearing tips .    Thanks lads , I've got it sorted now by  1) switched to btcomet 2)reduced setting on up load and 3) Only use the f'ucker when I'm not using the pc . 

Lando my copy of Hostel is top quality no problemo whatsoever . The Hills have Eye's 2006 however was  pretty rough, viewable but only just.

All the tv stuff I've taken has been good quality (24 and The Shield)
