The New Zealand vs Slovakia looks like a good match so far. Killon should have scored from that header though.

While England are not contenders, I think they need to concentrate on winning the group to avoid the Germans. The quarter final draw (probably France) is a great one so even though very limited they could make the semis which would be a great achievement.

Spain,Argentina,Germany,maybe Brazil (haven't seen them in ages) would appear to be the teams with players good enough to win i.e. the usual suspects.

What is it with Keowns love for new zealand? when they get forward and have a shot its "nice movement and a good effort" but if Slovakia do it "he should have got it on target there !"

He hates the Slovaks because they made up most of the Czech team that beat Germany on penalties in 1976(never happened since) and the Germans are the main rivals of the Dutch and Ruud Van Nistleroy is Dutch and they hated each other - remember that penalty RVN missed.

It's obvious he'd hate the Slovaks.

Kiwis mate, southern hemisphere version of the Welsh.

With Tommy Smith playing for All whites and Slovak keeper heading to Everton, I still hoping they can grab a equaliser against all the odds
