Zidane is the best player to have graced the planet in my opinion!!!!!

As far as Luis Figo goes, he was a world class performer for years on end when he was at barca, before he moved on to real madrid. Granted he is getting on a bit now and has lost a yard of pace, but the mind is still there and i bet he is still one of the top assisters in la liga!!! I just wish we could have seen him at one time in the premiership, he would have set it alight!!! 20 times the player cantona was!!!

Not as good as Ronny Rosenthal mind!!!!

i have known this for a long while, he is with out a shadow of a doubt the best player in the world(at the moment), and if anyone wants to argue that point......try me!!

Zidane has to be easily, Figo is overrated!
Beckham is a good player but he is too hyped up by the media he is nothing on Zidane although he may have more hair than the French Wizard

I used to rate Rivaldo one of the best until his ill fated spell at AC Milan and now he has gone to earn a few mill playing in a mediocre league in Qatar which proves he knows he has had his day.

I agree on ZiZu ! He is the best ever ! But Becks - not a footballer - a popstar ! He has very limited skills, but an extremely good right foot !

The best player in the world at the moment isn't even in your selections on the vote form and that player is Thierry Henry. Far and away the best player on form at the moment. Zidane and Raul are my choices for 2 and 3. Over rated ? Where do you start >? Totti is a certainty and Figo is living on past performances:p

I only seen this poll now (its almost 2 years old).
I think Zidane is the best player in the world the older he seems to get the better he seems to get.
Right after him are Henry and Ronaldo.

the reason ronaldinho isnt on the list is because the poll is 2 years old and back then ronaldinho was a psg player. and since he was player in france he was never thought as world class even if he was highly rated.
