What a Joke, whats wrong with their wages? they are earning higher than the normal citizen and they still act big headed... :no

The strike was about players in the lower divisions who are not being paid by their clubs who are in financial difficulty. They want a safety net fund to pay out in such cases. Sounds more like charity fund to me, business is business and when a company goes under that the end, no one gets paid. For some reason, players think themselves 'different'.

Basically correct.

But the players do have a point. Meaning that meanwhile the F.A. has a league in which your clubs receive parachute money when you relegate, the Spanish league doesn't have anything like that.

The Liga should fine the clubs who don't pay their players. But they don't, allowing cheating clubs to offer contracts that they can't actually fulfill. That has to be fixed.

you watching this Mick? I saw the Barca line up and there's only one defender in the team, are they playing 1-8-1 formation or something?  :D

8-0 to Barca tonight.

It's all getting a bit silly isn't it?

People started to question them after the last two results went awry for them so if you're gonna answer your critics I suppose banging 8 goals in is one way to do it.  :Oo:
