Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

I think he may go but the money would have to be nearer £50m than the reported £45m. In fact LFC may have put a price on him higher than that.

£60m and not a penny less, that'd be my stance if I was BR or FSG

There is little business sense selling him now.

So many factors to say 'no' to selling him this season -

- Too little time to identify a replacement that isn't overpriced.
- We need him to bolster our CL hopes.
- His value will naturally increase if he plays in the world cup.

If he is intent on leaving, then after the world cup is ideal. I really hope the club do not entertain any bids.

Just a thought on this silly saga... Should Madrid come in today for him, what about 20 mil plus Benzema? That would be good business.

I would actually be tempted to accept a £20million + Ozil deal if that was offered, then go and buy Yarmalenko with the money.

It has to be money + player at this time of the transfer window, otherwise its no deal. Teams will know how much money we have and add £10million onto players valuations so we get ripped off.

Would be a disaster if he left today.  We needs options up front.  Maybe we can sell in Jan when there is time to find a replacement.

Guillermo is the most reliable Spanish journalist around. I believe him. Great stance by the club.

SCS - That is a contradiction in terms: The most reliable Spanish journalist around......better than most I agree but does that say a lot?

I think Liverpool FC would have leaked that phone call telling the mighty RM to do one if there is any truth in the story. I smell a lorry load of bullshit

Real Madrid are too busy pulling themselves off over Bale to ring for Suarez. This is their moment, their marquee signing, this is their transfer business all wrapped up.

Suarez is safe with us.

Would be a good time to sell to a top team in the CL at a premium price when top players are usually not available. Personally I hope he goes nowhere and take us to the next level. LUIS'S ATTITUDE, GENERAL BEHAVIOUR AND QUALITY OF PLAY will have a lot to do with what happens next.

its not going to happen at this stage of the window.
john henry would not risk the wrath of the fan's after his comments and would end up losing any credibility he has.
