International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

Any comments on the tournament........

Just been watching Mexico vs. Brazil

Great game, final score Mexico 2 Brazil 0

Anyone see that miss at the end from the Mexican forward? All the way with his left foot - in the Gonzalez mould - only to cut in on his right after going past the keeper and missing an open goal.

Dunga is under pressure.  If Brazil get knocked out v Argentina or fail to reach the final he will be gone.

Personally Manhattan is loving this Copa America tournament.

Argies vs USA next.

At the moment, Paraguay are mullering Columbia.

I think the Venezuelans just dissed the USA by not playing the full anthem.

That lacks class IMO.

First Half Analysis:

Decent game. The tempo's too slow and Argentina are playing too deep IMO. A bit too lethargic though.

The USA are absorbing most of their attacks and anticipating well, Agentina need to pass it quicker and play a bit higher up. The USA are mainly relying on their counter attack but can't get much support to Johnson.

Chile looked like :censored: and we still won, crazy. The tourament has been fun so far, with Peru and Bolivia looking way better than i thought they would. Mexico killed Brazil, but they were fairly lucky on the second half of the game and Argentina didn't look as sharp as i expected.

Looking forward to see if Chile doesnt get murdered by Brazil like it happened a couple of months ago.

Argentina are awesome.  I would not rather watch any other international side.  The pass the ball so well and have a golden generation of talented players.

Oh and who says Robinho is just full of skills and tricks with no end product.  This kid is awesome with tons and tons of ability. Hat-trick!!!
