Uraguay 1 Brazil 2

Nearly halftime.

Forlan looks like a good player for Uraguay and did at Villarreal too.

I can't understand why he was so useless at Manure.

By the way Brazil just won an epic shootout. Uruguay had a pen to win 5-4 but garcia missed the gilberto slotted for brazil and some numpty missed again for Uruguay. Like i said in an earlier post, i hate Uruguay being an ozzie fan and am happy with the result. Brazil vs likely Argentina will be a belter

Beautiful goal from Messi.

Mexico 0 Argentina 2

Half an hour to go.

OK, now it's Mexico 0 Argentina 3.

Riquelme, penalty.

I have to say, Argentina are superb.

How on Earth they didn't win the World Cup I do not know.

Jose Pekerman is the reason Argentina didnt win the 2006 World Cup.

This Basile fella has got them set just right.

Can't feckin wait, I fancy the argies to do the business again. They're stronger defensively and more flowing in attack, but Brazil have some cracking talent so you never know.
