if anyone read the paper yesterday, it was quoted that Ian Rush has urged lfc to go back for Owen, and also there was an understanding that lfc had first refusal on Owen, if he wanted to leave Madrid

Owen got his first start today. Both Ronaldo and Raul were dropped along with Zidane.

Bilbao often do well against Madrid as it's the whole Basque vs Spain thing, and all of Bilbao's players have to be from the Basque region so play with a lot of passion and heart.

lol it was 2-1 in the end..  :D

..the fact is that Real are on the decline .. so he's not really in any better position then he was here.. the difference is that the pospects for improvement are greater now then ever before here.. with the Boss and some of his signings..

I was angry at how Owen engineered his move to Real.. but I'd have him bak .. and hopefully Gerrrad will stay.. Alonso fit, Cisse fit... Mmmoreintes corr.. what a line-up and not bad lookin neither
