WHat I want to know is this:
Who is the player you have hated the most from any era? If you don't "hate" anyone, as some softies may retort, which has had you the closest to it? Which one has constantly annoyed the living sh*t out of you, and why?
I'll start us off by saying the player I have hated the most has to be Gary Neville. I know he is a current player, but he has been around for quite a while now, and I'm not exactly old at 23, so before this little b*stard, my hate-gauge wasn't quite developed!!!!!
The reasons are obvious: He is a complete dickhead, he hates Liverpool, always has a go, and is a f*cking Manc b*stard.
Second, off the top of my head, would be either Eric Cantona (pure arrogant b*stard, despite the talent) or Diego Maradona (same reason).
Special mentions go to Alan Shearer, Roy Keane, Van Horseface, Spooney, Gary Pallister, Andy Cole, Lee Bowyer, Patrick Viera, Arjen Robben, Christiano Ronaldo and Duncan Ferguson.
