I believe in Pele: EL HADJI !!!  :D

Seriously: Dalglish. He experinced success as a player and a manager at the same time. Not many players can achieve that.

I can only say Owen because that is who i have seen the most, but lookin at videos and hearin stories, its gotta b Kenny
He comes from Spain and he doesn't speak good English,
But we don't care cos he'll turn us into winners,
The European Cup will be ours before he's finished,
Raaaaafaa Benitez!

Without a doubt it was the king for me. Dalglish had eyes in the back of his head and football was a art to him! I thank god that i witnessed him in action for the reds!

Robbie Fowler has to be the player for me. He was at the top of his game when i was a youngster and he just sits in my memory as being a quality player.

It has to be Dalglish for me. But closely followed by

Souness
Hansen
Rush
Lawrenson
Barnes.

In my view, Owen and Gerrard still have a lot to prove (in Owen's case, a good start would be getting over 20 goals a season). Nor would Fowler be on my list of all time greats. He was a waster who squandered his immense talents.
