very hard to pick a fave too many greats and also diff positions. But cant believe OWZAT picked hyypia before lawro, Smith, even mark wright was better than that lanky streak of gay pish. But we have democracy

Gotta be Dalglish, just different class to everyone else.

Nearly a convincing argument up until you mentioned Mark Wright ???

It is my FAVOURITE XI, I prefer Hyypia to the others for his style. I reckon anyone could play alongside Hansen anyway

Hyppia at his peak would have been an excellent partner to Hansen, as would have Mark Wright (at his peak).

As Owzat said, you could have played anyone alongside Hansen. Even Phil Babb or Igor Biscan.

Mark Wright was a disapointment. He showed huge potential as a young player in the 1980s, had a great WC in 1990, but he was thrown into a mess at Liverpool by Souness and his hip injury curtailed his mobility.

He did show some of his old form under Evans for a season or two, but like dozens of players in Liverpool shirts in the 1990s, it was merely a glimpse of what they were really capable of.

Q: You're trapped in a room with a tiger, a rattlesnake, and a Manchester United Fan. You have a gun with two bullets. What should you do?

A: Shoot the United Fan. Twice.

Kenny was past his best when I first really remember him 1985/86. Liverpool were having a poor enough season and he wasn't playing(don't remember if injured or if he thought being a manager was enough). In about February, he put the boots on and won the double, I'll never forget his goal at Stamford Bridge to win the league.

Sorry to Hanson,Rush and Jimmy Carter but I'll give the award to Kenny.

unfortunatly im not old enough to remember the glory days, so my favourite player has to be robbie fowler, i mean he could do anthing, his goals were just the best. it still breaks my heart to see him playing for another team. At his best he was a million times better than owen and always proved it when it mattered. arsenal and man u fans still fear him! he used to get goals from everywhere. ive still got my shirt with fowler 23 on the back from when i was a kid, used to impersinate him in the playground all the time. Apart from gerrard i dont think young liverpool supporters have much to shout about these days
