Wasn’t Gravenberch complaining about lack of game time at Bayern? Is he good enough to nail down a starting berth with us and if not is he just swapping a place on Bayerns bench for ours,

Last season he only managed 3 starts in the league and  2 in Europe. I'm guessing the first thing he asked Klopp is am I just backup or are you actually going to use me. Whatever Klopp told him he sounds happy with it.

He has quite a lot going for him so plenty for Klopp and the coaches to work with. Will be interesting to see if Klopp uses him as a 6 or if he mainly competes with Mac and Slob for the more box to box roles. I reckon Klopp sees him a ball playing DM and he'll play quite a bit.

Not a fan of Gavenberch. From the little I've seen of him, he seems like he doesn't possess a lot of intelligence and he's not very skillful either but has the attitude like he possesses both. He hardly starts for Bayern as mentioned above so if he's not good enough for Bayern how will he be good enough for us?

On the other hand, we need another midfielder and Klopp seems to rate him so I guess I'll trust his judgement.

He's a big lad who is technically excellent, superb in the turn, strides forward well with the ball, and is a progressive passer. He's got an awful lot going for him. He only turned 21 in the summer. One difficult season at Bayern were they themselves were a little disjointed isn't a big issue. Viera was rescued from the AC Milan bench by Wenger.

Gravenberch fits the type of midfielder Klopp goes for. Physical presence, mobile, press resistant, has the ability to carry the ball upfield and also find a pass. More importantly at 21, the upside is huge if he can develop under Klopp's coaching. Fee of £35m being mentioned and to be honest can't really lose out paying that kind of money nowadays.

Don't know much about him. But if Klopp wants him then fair enough. Mind you I did read he wanted to go to Utd at one point.
Personally, it's the defence that needs a bit of tlc

Gravy added to Slobby and Mac. Endo as experienced squad depth. Midfield rebuild complete.

Apparently we've signed Gavenberch. £34m according to reports. A bit steep if you ask me, they almost got double what they paid for him, I was expecting something closer to £25m, but eh it's not my money and Klopp got his man, let's hope he turns out to be a great signing.

He had a year left on his contract when he moved to Bayern and that's why they got him cheap. In all honesty £35m is a steal considering the talent he has.

Apparently he’s only 21 so he”ll improve, we aren’t buying the finished product.

Happy days for Munich. Must be laughing at us now. And they'll use that profit to go after Palhinha

Munich will have to pay Ajax 7.5% of the sell on fee. So they're basically getting back what they paid for him. Alot of Bayern fans are happy to see him leave and are ecstatic with the transfer fee they got for him.

I'm trusting Klopp with this one as I've never watched him play before.

Who is Fabinho's replacement?
