Nothing has changed. We still need to win our last 2 games.

Leicester look like they are already on their summer hols. I don't think they'll beat Spurs and Kane will be chasing the golden boot and keen to end his Spuds career on a high note.

Nice to see united trophyless, but this was one of the worst games I’ve ever witnessed...truly dire. 3 shots on target in 120 minutes.

After the match the ManUre manager said “yes we were not quite there, we were missing something.... we were missing a premier league referee, we could have really used him”

Sometimes football isn’t just about all out attack. Villarreal knew they were up against it from the kick off. They finished 7th in La Liga nearly 30 points off the top !! Their squad cost feck all in comparison to United’s. They had never won anything in their history. Inevitably their options were limited and they were always going to play a defensive game which they did very well. Villarreal successfully nullified United’s attack. Fernandez the big match failure was snuffed out and the same could be said for Cavani. They utilised their substitutes brilliantly to ensure the team was a lot fresher towards the end. And to cap it all they had obviously been practicing penalties which to a man including their goalkeeper performed brilliantly. Good to see Alberto stuff one past them as well

United’s classless behaviour when they collected their runners up medals typified what a thoroughly horrible collection of prima donnas they really are !!

CONGRATULATIONS VILLAREAL ON A VERY WELL DESERVED WIN !!

As long as he’s been in England, you’d think his English had improved   :D

“Get out, get out Manchester United”

A happy end to a tense season, if only there was a way to have both Chelsea and City lose in the final.

Never mind his English, his heart’s in the right place. :)

If you held a gun to my head I’d say I wanted Chelsea to win the final. Just because after growing bored of the PL the City owners are so desperate to win the CL that it would be funny to witness them lose it at the death.

I imagine if they do lose the sheiks will go a bit mental, starting their own European league and calling every team Manchester City like something out of monty python.

Well done to Villareal on winning the final of the Europa League. Also well done to Man United on their great season (according to them), ending trophyless and only 5 points above us in the league.

Congrats to Moreno as well. He always made up in heart for what he lacked in brain  . Nice to see that his heart is still at the right place.

Yeah, bit of a Hobson’s choice but I’d rather see Chelsea win it myself.

1-0 Chelsea at HT. So far so good.
City are going to throw the kitchen sink at them here though.

Congrats to Chelsea, the lesser of two evils...very disciplined and tactically better set up by Tuchel, 1 shot against on target all night tells you something. Pep just tinker himself into yet another Champions League loss.

A hat-trick for German coach as well...well done too
