I'm all for it. The very best teams and best athletes are always experimenting in order to find those 1 percenters. That's just sport at the top level - making what seems like minor incremental improvements in every area but collectively the approach makes a material difference.

We have had a tendency to loose possession from throw ins ; and that goes back years

I'm all for it. The throw in coach. Imagine the ball goes pin point to the feet of the likes of firmino, mane and salah at the edge of the box. How much that will create panick in the opposition's backline...

And you think a throw in coach is going to make a difference? We had goalkeeping coaches and defensive coaches but it didn't stop us shipping goals for fun and filling football gaffe video's for years.

Once upon a time...
I was coached to always throw the ball forwards (being positive rather than negative in play).
Players who threw the ball backwards would get penalised or dropped.
The coach was an ex-evertonian pro.
Make of that what you will.
