Thought he was solid without being spectacular. Needs to hold the play up a bit better but his pressing and energy was good. Such a shame his header missed because you get the feeling he would have went on for a ripper of a game.

I don't know... Something seems to be missing with his game. He has good technical ability. Seems to be quite good with the ball to his feet. He is not too slow and quite mobile. What he needs to do is bear down on goal when he gets the ball in a good position and be almost single minded and scare the Sh*t out of defenders. That's what world class strikers like Suarez, Torres and Owen do. Maybe with more confidence he will be better.

Thought he did OK, not brilliant but not awful at the same time. Want to see some more dynamism from him. Whenever I watch him, he seems to be coasting and playing on cruise control. If he can shift up a gear or two in games, think there is a player there. One thing is for sure, if anyone is going to get him more dynamic it is Klopp

He has no one to learn from!!  Who's his role model at Anfield? Unless he wants to spend his career in the treatment room there's no one out there showing him how to do it in real time. Keegan/Tosh, Kenny/Rush, Robbie/Rush, Owen/others, Torres/SG, SS/LS.

He's NOT a natural like RF/MO/FT/LS/SS and he's still raw, he spent half the Spurs game running round like a headless chicken.

I'll spell it out clearly, the answer to all the afore mentioned questions...     HE'S FECKING *****.

there we are. He'll fill a gap until a better striker gets fit (SS) or we get someone who knows where the net is in January.

To be fair to the lad though DB he ran 11km on Saturday which is further than either Sturridge or Benteke have ever managed in their entire careers!
Like you I think there's a player there but I reckon he's probably more suited to being a wide forward than a CF,  as others have mentioned he doesn't seem to have that natural goalscorers instinct to lead the line.

He might improve with a few games under his belt and a bit of time with Klopp.

I personally believe we signed this lad off the back of 2 good games in the last W.C. I haven't seen anything from him in the few games I seen last season or the few he has played for us to suggest he is anything like a top player.
Very similar to wash imo and likely to go the same way.

I think it's a bit too early to tell mate, he's only 20 and at that age he's nowhere near the finished article nor should we really expect him to be. He's only been at the club a few months as well.
He deffo needs to improve his finishing though!

He's *****.  Touch of a donkey,  no awareness of what's around him and had no clue where the net is.  Move him on in January

His movement for a striker was poor.

I don't think that poor performance was solely down to a 20 year old 4th choice striker.
