Didnt play well against Cardiff but still scored 3. Wasnt on form tonight either, very wasteful and selfish
People criticise Sturridge for his decision making, but Suarez made plenty of bad choices.
Lets hope its sorted for Sunday

He was being very irresponsible and unprofessional today IMO. He probably thought that the game was in the bag and he was more concerned about getting himself on the score-sheet and that could have costed us. Had O'Shea been on target it could have been a disaster of a night.

He is undoubtably one of the main reasons we are doing so well this season but last night I felt he was letting goal records and personal accolades cloud his judgement, he could have put Sturridge in at least a couple of times last night but went for ambitious efforts from acute angles.

I think what made it so apparent was the clipped pass he managed to sail wildly over Sturridge's head when he was in the perfect position in the box to nod it in.

I know that he's got that record to think about but he should understand that he won't achieve it by force. Play with the team and play our game and the goals will come.

And a more selfish striker would have claimed a touch on the Henderson goal, going for the record and all.

29 goals in a season, a new premier league record for this club. This fella isn't just playing games he's writing history.

I would love him to bag another six and take the all time record, especially having missed the first five games of the season.

If he beats the record (which I think he will) and if we win the league (don't want to start flying so high but IMO it's between us and City now) there's a good chance that he wins the Ballon d'or as well.

Those two efforts that hit the bar yesterday would have been goal of the season contenders. Just absolute genius.

Says it all when he has a pretty average game and yet still hits the woodwork twice and wins a penalty.

I don't think there is any chance of him winning that to be honest.

Messi and Ronaldo are ridiculously good players and while Suarez is not a million miles off, I think he'd need to go up another level to achieve it.

If Suarez had blistering pace like the other two, I think he'd do it. Unfortunately for him, he'll have to settle for being the third best player in the world for the rest of his career.
