No dilemma what so ever for me. The lazy primma donna sits on the bench unless we need a goal.

Wouldn't dare move Suarez or put anyone in the side who'll hinder his performances at the minute and he doesn't work anywhere near hard enough to dis lodge Sterling, who has really hit a run of form rather suprisingly.

I somewhat agree with that. Not with the lazy prima donna part, but I agree that Sturridge maybe shouldn't jump right back in the squad since we've been playing well without him and it will be a bit unfair to Sterling who's in a good form. We also wouldn't want to rush him back in and risk another injury. Sturridge will be great as an impact sub too.

I'd say the same for Gerrard. Even more so, considering his lack of speed and agility, qualities that were key to our successful pressing game that we played in recent games while Gerrard was out injured.

I don't wanna turn this into another Gerrard bashing thread but I swear man Gerrard is a liability in the current system. He doesn't have the legs anymore and the problem is, by playing him deeper, we're wasting his attacking talents. But by playing him higher, he's unlikely to give the same pressure that Joe Allen has been giving on opposing defenses. So what do we do with him?

As for Sturridge, he shouldn't be rushed back but seeing the number of injuries we have, and that players like Moses, Aspas and Cissokho are either taking too long to adapt or are just Sh*t, Sturridge will probably start against Stoke.

Gerrard should be restored in place of Lucas, who contributes nothing, or in place of Johnson, who contributes to the opposition.

He can't do any worse than those two at present.

Pfft, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  The lad has only just gotten back into the top five in Prem scoring. Needs to buck up his ideas.

Firmly believe that's his best position and how he'd be best used.

Over 90 minutes he makes to many mistakes for me so coming into matches fresh with 30 minutes left to play may well suit him.

Are there people who still have doubts? Really? The second finish was just ridiculous.

Thats 27 in 33 for us.

I'm  really baffled with all the criticism he's getting on here... He's at this moment the best English striker and probably top 5 striker in the premier league and here we are saying he should be an impact sub?

Ignore Stu, he's always absent when his argument falls apart.

Him and coutinho basically turned us around, before they arrived we had our worst points haul at the halfway stage of a season in the 3points for a win era (even worse than hodgsons) and we had just had our worst start since the titanic went down before WWI.
