Let's hope they go for the double !!  Great to see them winning again as a company considering the view some supporters have of their ability.

I stated that the owners of the Red Sox had more credibility and kudos because the team that had finished bottom of the league last season won it this season.
They also have been criticised for their stewardship of LFC, with some even pointing that the Red Sox previous failure was an indiction of their incompetence and of them being the wrong people to be in charge of Liverpool.
You come on with a proper knob statement of them being two totally seperate groups (yet another example of your laser like powers of observation) totally missing the point that THE SAME Fu*king PEOPLE OWN THE TWO Fu*king CLUBS! Then you ramble on about Ian Ayre, who you seem to dislike, finishing off with one of your "factual" and "knowledgable" statements.

They won a rounders comp in America - it's meaningless to the football world. It has nothing to do with what happens with us. They also own a newspaper and a Nascar team - both have nothing to do with us. I'm critical of their ownership because of what they have done with us - nothing to do with what happens with their Baseball team. It could possibly have given them credit and kudos in the baseball circles but it has zero impact on us - zero. Baseball and football are two entirely different sports run massively different. It's chalk and cheese - they know baseball, they don't know football. You can give them credit if you so wish - ill reserve it for when they actually achieve sustained success with us.

Do you understand one single thing about motivation? Does John Henry have anything to do with the Red Sox? How do you think he feels mentally about taking a bottom team last year to the top this year? Do you remember him talking about FSG having a winning mentality? That is vital in any group of companies. I will bet a pound to a penny that the Liverpool team will have been shown a video of the Red Sox celebrations and do you think that might just have some affect on the lads?

Would imagine its easier to win a baseball championship in America as be surprised if its as competitive a market for players as football
where you are competing against teams all over Europe, a number of whom have superior resources and can offer better prospects than
Liverpool.

FSG have made steady progress here but there is still massive room for improvement off the field and certainly some of the staff who run
the club for them could and should be strengthened in my opinion.

They have been here 3 years now - have heard them say many things, very little substance.

If Liverpool FC needs to see the Red Sox win a rounders game to motivate them then we have bigger problems. Why the hell would the players watch the Red Sox celebrate unless they have an interest in the game ? If the players want to see celebrations as motivation then they should watch videos of something more relevant - CL05 should be a start , even watch the celebration of the League Cup from two seasons ago.

When that "winning mentality" you say Henry talks about appears on this side of the Atlantic then maybe they can start to get some credit - until then it's just clutching straws just to find anyway to associate the Red Sox's winning a Baseball tournament to us , what next ? Do we celebrate if the New York Times wins paper of the year !

By your response it would appear that as I suspected you know very little about motivation. You have such a bitter and twisted view of most things that it is very difficult to have a sensible discussion. Let's leave it at that because we will never agree.
